Cruise Information

Whale Watching .... an intimate encounter

Experience the excitement of a whale watching aboard True Blue Cruises. We offer 4 hour morning and afternoon trips. Please check our tours and prices schedule for exact times for departure and returns.

Cruise Itinerary

We commence our tour on the magnificent Sydney Harbour, departing King Street Wharf 8, Darling Harbour. Gaze at our amazing city and marvel at its beauty as we exit out of the heads and within 20 minutes we our out into the open ocean into whale watching country.

Revel in the excitement of the first whale sighting as we spot our first pod on their annual migration. The first sign that whales are around is usually the blow. A humpback breathes through the blow hole on top of its head. When it expels its breath, the resulting burst of air and water vapour can be seen for as far away as two kilometres on a clear day.

Our experienced staff has over 15 years of whale watching experience and will give you an informative commentary of whale behaviour and are dedicated to providing you with a close encounter with these gentle giants of the sea.

There is complimentary tea and coffee on board and as we return back from our cruise we point out the highlights of Sydney and all it has to offer.

What to bring

  • Sunglasses, to avoid the glare off the water
  • Warm clothes
  • Camera and film to capture those magical moments

Eat sensibly before you travel and ask your pharmacist about sea sickness tablets. Better to come prepared!
