Whale Sighting - Wed 9th Jun 2010
Number of Whales Seen : 2Today Explorer and her crew sighted 2 whales 4 mile East of the Heads. This pair were slowly swimming along displaying some nice fluke up dives. The beautiful Black Browed Albitross were out this afternoon as were the Shearwater sea birds.
The seas were good with only a 1 metre swell with a 20 Knot westerly.
Land based sightings reported.
6 from Sydney South Head and 6 coming from Jarvis Bay in the south and another 2 at Kiama.
They are all on their way north.
